The Expanding Universe
Until the early 20th century, scientists believed the universe was static. In 1929, Edwin Hubble observed that galaxies are moving away from us, proving the universe is expanding. The Quran stated this 1400 years ago using the word Musi'un (expander/expanding one). Additionally, Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30) describes the heavens and earth as a "joined entity" (Ratq) that was "separated" (Fatq), perfectly describing the Singularity of the Big Bang.

The Leech-Like Embryo
The Arabic word Alaqah has three meanings: (1) Leech, (2) Suspended thing, (3) Blood clot. Remarkably, a 24-day-old human embryo looks exactly like a leech under a microscope. It acts like a leech by feeding on the mother's blood, and it is suspended in the womb. Professor Keith Moore, a world-renowned embryologist, stated upon seeing this: "The descriptions in the Quran cannot be based on scientific knowledge in the 7th century."
جونک جیسا جنین (Embryo)
عربی لفظ علقہ کے تین معنی ہیں: (1) جونک، (2) لٹکی ہوئی چیز، (3) خون کا لوتھڑا۔ حیرت انگیز طور پر، 24 دن کا انسانی جنین خوردبین کے نیچے بالکل جونک جیسا لگتا ہے۔ یہ جونک کی طرح ماں کا خون چوستا ہے اور رحم میں لٹکا ہوا ہوتا ہے۔ دنیا کے مشہور ایمبریولوجسٹ پروفیسر کیتھ مور نے یہ دیکھ کر کہا: "قرآن میں دی گئی تفصیلات 7ویں صدی کے سائنسی علم پر مبنی نہیں ہو سکتیں۔"
Iron: The Alien Metal
The verse uses the words Anzalna (We sent down) for iron. Modern astrophysics has proven that iron cannot form within our solar system. The sun's heat is insufficient to fuse iron atoms. Iron is only produced in giant stars much larger than the sun; when they explode as Supernovae, iron is scattered across space and landed on Earth via meteorites billions of years ago. It literally "came down" from the sky.
لوہا: خلائی دھات
اس آیت میں لوہے کے لیے لفظ انزلنا (ہم نے اتارا) استعمال ہوا ہے۔ جدید فلکیاتی طبیعیات نے ثابت کیا ہے کہ لوہا ہمارے نظام شمسی میں نہیں بن سکتا۔ سورج کی حرارت لوہے کے ایٹم بنانے کے لیے کافی نہیں ہے۔ لوہا صرف ان بڑے ستاروں میں بنتا ہے جو سورج سے بہت بڑے ہوتے ہیں؛ جب وہ سپر نووا کے طور پر پھٹتے ہیں تو لوہا خلا میں بکھر جاتا ہے اور شہاب ثاقب کے ذریعے زمین پر آیا۔ یہ واقعی آسمان سے "نیچے آیا"۔
Mountains: Pegs of the Earth
The Quran describes mountains as Awtad (stakes or pegs used to anchor a tent). Modern geology confirms the theory of Isostasy: mountains are not just surface elevations; they have deep "roots" extending into the earth's mantle, often 10-15 times deeper than their height. These roots act exactly like pegs, stabilizing the Earth's crust (lithosphere) and preventing it from shaking excessively.
پہاڑ: زمین کی میخیں
قرآن پہاڑوں کو اوتاد (میخیں یا کھونٹیاں جو خیمے کو گاڑنے کے لیے استعمال ہوتی ہیں) کے طور پر بیان کرتا ہے۔ جدید ارضیات Isostasy کے نظریے کی تصدیق کرتی ہے: پہاڑ صرف سطح کی بلندیاں نہیں ہیں؛ ان کی گہری "جڑیں" زمین کے مینٹل میں پھیلی ہوئی ہیں، جو اکثر ان کی اونچائی سے 10-15 گنا زیادہ گہری ہوتی ہیں۔ یہ جڑیں بالکل میخوں کی طرح کام کرتی ہیں، جو زمین کی پرت کو مستحکم کرتی ہیں اور اسے لرزنے سے بچاتی ہیں۔
Internal Waves & Darkness
This verse mentions "waves above waves." Scientists have discovered Internal Waves that occur deep underwater, separating layers of different density. These waves are invisible to the human eye but exist beneath the surface waves we see. Furthermore, below 1,000 meters, there is complete darkness, accurate to the verse's description. A human living in the desert 1400 years ago could not have known about deep-ocean physics.
اندرونی لہریں اور اندھیرا

Pain Receptors in Skin
Why does the Quran specify replacing the skin to feel pain? Modern anatomy shows that pain receptors (nociceptors) are located in the skin. If a burn is deep (3rd degree), it destroys these nerve endings, and the person feels no pain. The Quran accurately identifies that the skin is the primary source of the sensation of burning pain.
